We are trying to purchase an existing youth camp that was built by the Girl Scouts in in 1947. Parts of the camp were damaged during a violent wind storm in February of 2017 forcing the main part of the camp to close indefinitely. On November 2, 2017, the current owner Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania’s Board of Directors voted to include 190 acres of Camp Furnace Hills as one of the properties it will sell.
